I found another blade issue to be addressed. Darkwood has updated their blade lists and has a couple that look new to me.
http://www.darkwoodarmory.com/blades.shtml
DA3S: The Spada Blade length from 34-39 inches width 1" wide tapering to just over 1/4" (this makes it right in between their Bated and their Sidesword blades)
Also Broadsword (DA4BD) and Longsword (DA4LT) -- I believe 'DA4' means they are equivalent to the Sidesword (DA4SS) and Backsword (DA4BA) blades.
And curved blades DA6HS and DA7CT
Now because they are all the same materials made by the same company do they just have to meet flex requirements or does each blade have to be approved individually?

Oh yeah,
While on the subject of blades. I noticed that the new Hanwei rapier and sidesword are approved. However, did we ever get a 'yes' or 'no' on the practical mortuary blades?

If a blade is not listed in the Society list, then it is not approved. So, yes, at this point the blades have to be approved inidividually.
I have not heard anything on the Practical Mortuary blades from Hanwei. Since I am trying to get approval for their Practical dagger as well, I will see what I can find out... |

i noticed on teh society list that it is still showing one of the safeflex daggers (15/6). Also i think this has been stated before, but for my clarification, does the society list supercede the list in our rules? The reason i ask is because the list in the back of the draft rules showes Alchem blades as still being approved simulators (rapier and safe flex), while the society list showes them as being disapproved. Just trying to clear up the discrepancy.

| An Tir rules always supercede. The Society approved blade list that also shows what blades are accepted in ech kingdom is only for convenience sakes, and is not official |
