perhaps my eyes missed it on the 2nd  version of the draft, but where are the restrictions for hilt/guard design? are they the same as july/14/2004 version?

also, the 3rd version keeps causing my adobe acrobat reader to error. I can't even view it.

 

slightly off topic, but doesn't darkwood sell deltins anymore? if not deltin, what would you recommend and where can i get it?

You aren't missing anything. The hilt/guard design restrictions were removed. There is still the restriction on quillion length in there, but the restriction on Saber guards was removed. A saber guard is close enough to the sail guard used on most main gauches, or if you squint, like a basket hilt.

Although we probably want to add the restriction back in on the various modern grips.

It did the same on my Mac, but a quick investigation revealed that for some bizarre reason it was triggering an old Adobe 5.0 version to open it. I zotzed the 5.0 and it opened in 7.0 with no problem.
