The Shire of Cold Keep is hosting its St. David's Day event on March 11. As part of St. David's Day celebrations, the Welsh celebrate their culture. This event is rather like the holiday it is named after, but is a celebration of SCA culture. (In other words, you neither need to be Welsh nor need to know anything about St. David in order to participate. In this spirit, we are looking for instructors interested in sharing their knowledge of the SCA and medieval life. Heavy and rapier fighting, archery, and arts and sciences are all welcome to attend and instruct. Please contact the autocrat if you are interested in either teaching or learning.

For those of us more rapier-minded, Dons Prospere and Alverro will be teaching various rapier-related things on Saturday, and there'll probably be a tournement of sorts afterwards. I'll post more details as soon as they exist.
