I would love to see this site get more use and more traffic. What sort of content would people like to see? one of the things i was thinking might be kind of cool would be to start putting results from tournaments and events up here so we can have a record of things, just for fun. If people want to email me or PM me the result from the various event is can post them. What are other peoples thoughts? Tell your friends to come and give ideas, lets get some excitement back in rapier!

Pictures. I know that when I miss an event I like to see pictures of the people that made it out and perhaps some video clips of some of the better dances that occurred between the competitors. And, to be quite honest, I think it would be kind of cool to have a kind of stat card with photo of every single rapier fighter in the NW here on the site. You know, something the fighters themselves could fill out (as much, or as little as they like) with information like number of years fencing, what particular style they practice, what practices they attend, and other things of that sort.

I think the pictures and video would be awesome! I will see if we can do a gallery of sorts. If nothing else a seperate forum where people can create threads for events with links to their pictures and videos. As far as the stat card i think there is a Bio associated with each user, i can see if there is a way to have that eith displayed or as a mouse over or something.

If you like I can lend a hand if folks would like to see the stat card idea come to fruition. Making such a thing in Powerpoint and posting the card as an image file would be pretty easy. People could send me the information they would like displayed and I'll just manage the whole thing as a database. Something like the attached is how it could be viewed.

I agree with results, pictures and Godfrey's thoughts on the dons and their cadets. And maybe Tora is on to something with the cards ... Dregate makes them for their champions.

There ya go. I just figured it would be an interesting thing to add to the site. Worst case scenario we can sit around the campfire at events and play Go Fish with them.

Or create our own version of "Rapier: The Gathering." Just imagine ... "Yay! I finally got a ultra rare Tora Taka card and his rare 'Steel Under the Bridge' attack card!" "You suck. I got another common Andrew Williams." "Isn't he a land card?" "Oh, but I did get his 'That's a NO-NO!' attack." "I heard Gunther found one of the ancient beta cards they no longer print, Herr Lyall Von Fuchs." "Did he also get the 'Lyall Driver' attack card with it or a 'Deflated don' defense?"
