Here is the schedule for rapier at May Crown.
Saturday:
9-10 am lists are open
9:30 Armor inspections start
10 am Open Field Tournament
11:30ish White Scarf Invitational
Sunday:
9 am lists open
9:30 Armor inspections start
10 am Double Elimination Tournament
Some notes on Saturday, the open field tournament is open to all fighters. Everyone's scores will be counted. You are still encouraged to fight every white scarf, and challenge above your rank when you can. After the open field tournament, the white scarves will get together and determine who they would like to invite into the WS invitational. They will then gather everyone together and perform the invitations, telling everyone who they invited and why. After that, we'll roll into the invitational.
We have list fields separate from the main field, and I don't know of anyone else that is currently scheduled to use them, so we will have empty eric space for pickup fights after the tournaments, for as long as there are marshals willing to watch the field, although we have to stop fighting during court.
Volunteers are needed to marshal and run lists during all the tournaments. Anyone interested in helping can contact me at lucianofoscari at mac.com.
