I am looking for a practice somewhere near me. I have just recently moved from Glenn Abhann to Tir Righ ( about 45 minutes to 3 hours outside Vancouver depending on the traffic in an easterly direction) and I have never once picked up a fencing weapon. I am not new to the SCA, but I am new to the area.
So I figured with a new place I would pick up a new addiction and fencing looked like the way to go.
I have looked at the websites for the 3 groups around me (Lion's Gate, Lionsdale, and Eisenmarch) and 2 have practices only on week days, which is impossable for me, as a father of three my wife needs a break when I get home from work, plus the time x distance doesnt work out for me real well, and the third doesnt have any times posted.
My question is, does anyone know of a fighter practice on the weekends somewhere near Pitt Meadows in B.C. I would be most appreciative.
