Not that I want to brag or anything (OK, I do, but we'll ignore that), but I recently revised a Giganti animation that I created a couple of years ago. It may not have the benefit of looking exactly like the plates in his book, but I think it's pretty nice:

You may need to right-click the animation and download it before you play it. I'm not sure if it's just my machine, but when I play the clip directly from the page, it cuts off too soon. No such problem if you download it first.
