Not sure where to put this, assuming if and when the new rules are brought into play that this'd be a good spot!
So, in the bottom right of this (shamelessly plagerized) picture
With the exception of the hook that's present on it, would building a target with the shown bars/rings on it's surface pass?  |

So long as the edges are folded and smooth, I can see no difficulty either.
My only question would be; What is the advantage of having the raised bars on the face of the buckler?
It seems to me that a smooth surface would allow a parried blade to slide easilly and therefore allow you to guide it away from you as you advance. Whereas a surface with raised bars would tend to simply halt the blade. |

Hmm, the image works fine for me. I tweaked it a bit to make it a static image, and not a link.
