Toys for Tots and fighting and prizes! What could be better :) - Wednesday, October 15, 2008
Unto all the noble rapier fighters of An Tir!  Come test your skills at the Honorable Barony of Dragon's Laire's Toys for Tots Tournament.  There will be a standard prize tourney, the winner will receive a hand made RBG made by His Lordship Talentus. There will also be a second Rapier scenario of a Tavern Brawl inside a building.  This scenario will allow RBG's and other offhand weapons, think cloaks, tankards, turkey legs, kegs, barmaids...wait, maybe not barmaids. But bring your unique offhands and your RBG's for this scenario.Entrance to the event is a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots, which you can also tally to your own local groups total to try and out do Dragon's Laire's generosity.  The site is Manchester State Park in Manchester Washington in the Torpedo Warehouse.  The site is covered but open so dress warmly and bring your own lunch.

An awesome time to come eat and serve steel, drink, cavort.  No beaches so Tora doesn't get a long walk, but might get some stabbing by candle light!

Autumn War! - Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Here is a group shot from Saturday of Autumn War 2008.  Don Sebastien and Cameron did a bang up job with the marshalling.  It was a lot of fun with people out there.

If you have logged into the website at nwrapier.com since October 22nd, and/or have already reset your password on the site, please disregard this message, and accept my apologies for the duplication.

Welcome to the New and Improved NWRapier.com website!

This site has been migrated to new servers to take advantage of a much newer codebase, and massively updated portal/forum software to correct many issues that had come up with the site previously.  All users, profiles, settings and details from the previous incarnation of the website have been successfully migrated to the new servers with no loss of data/information - especially in regards to the message forums.

As with any change, or upgrade I am sure that there are till some minor issues floating around, and some "new" areas of the NWRapier.com website have not had content published to them as of yet, but please bear with us as we work on these issues one at a time.  Aso, please be sure to report any issues, or request feature updates in the appropriate forum ;)

FYI - Due to compatibility issues between different portal versions, existing passwords were not able to be migrated from the old site to the new one.  So in order to make things a little bit easier for all involved (especially me!) I have reset each accounts password. This way when you attempt to logon to the website for the first time since October 22nd, 2007 you should use the "Forgot Password", or "Email me my Password" functionality to have the system automatically send you your new site password.  After using this password to logon to the site you may be prompted to update your password to a new one.  See inforaiton below regarding password complexity requirements:

Passwords must meet the following minimum requirements:

At least 1 Capital Letter

1 "Special" Character ["!","@","#","$","%","^","&","*","(",")"]

If this does not work, please send me an email at jgreywolf "at" oldworldmartialarts "dot" com, and I will reset the password for you.
